So far no solution... Any ideas?
Somebody "COULD" die. 'MAYBE' someone died.
Tech related or is it?
Google, Amazon, Verizon, LG, Pick your favorite major news, print, email, chat, live person, Congress, Senate, FBI, Local news.......
I need Ideas..
What else can I do?
The problem:
Random ads that delay phone calls. Yes I timed them. I tried ad blockers, different one's. Reset phone to factory settings.
This is not about sueing anyone. What if you were calling Police, EMS and because of a 15 to a 60 second ad someone died?
No one I've contacted knows what to do, why or do not respond or doesn't know either.
These ads are not just games but totally random....
I've been searching for a solution without any answers. I've tried the legal departments, tech departments. Most companies, corporations. Local police and frankly I've tired of trying and running out of patience.
SO..... Any other ideas?

I'm pretty much a tech dummy, but it sounds like a smartphone that was sold at a cheaper price with the caveat that you would be saddled with these ads for the life of the phone. When shopping on Amazon for a new phone I noticed quite a few of them and when I read the reviews I decided paying a few bucks more would save me quite a few headaches.

I can't even remember what pop up I deleted. It was annoying and especially so with phone calls. Whatever it was, I asked google how to remove it... checked a few sites... followed the instructions and, badabing, gone.
I think the ads are in the sim cards now because I got the pop ups after I got a new sim card and it was for a phone that didn't have them before. as in both Telcel sim cards with the same phone.

I’ve never had it happen so far with my IPhone. I hope you find a solution. Could it be a byproduct of some app you downloaded?

Is this a browser you are using? I use Firefox for linux, with an add on called Ghostery. It just blocked 19 trackers in 4.5 seconds after I clicked this topic. Sounds like trackers are your problem

VZ Tx.
I'm still having the issue. I said screw it and bought a new phone and changed to Spectrum and bought another LG K series. I haven't given up . The LG Thin Q was an expensive phone. Eventually I'll find ou
Meanwhile I've called the Whitehouse Phone number and left a message with the Secetary.
When I do find out I'll report back. I honestly thing a streaming app or Google is behind this.
It worries me because I would hat that someone was unable to reach emergency services because of the time it's takes to reboot and that doesn't always work because the damn ad still playing. Also it just doesn't make sense why a factory reset wouldn't fix the issue.
Also I'm going to get in touch the regulatory people that oversee internet and cell phones and report it too them.
