Enrollment begins April 03 from 10:00 to 2:00 pm at the LCS Office
Enrollment ends April 30.
Description: Description: Mexico, as part of the new world is a treasure trove of gastronomy. Mexican soil is where the first corn (maize), tomatoes and cocoa was domesticated. Beans of the new world began in the Andean mountains and within a few thousand years had arrived in Mexico by 4-5000 BCE.
It's been said that no culture does beans like Mexican culture(s). Learn about the frijole or legume, whatever you like to call it in this prueba. We will present recipes that are easy to make and full of flavor. Learn to prepare charro, drunken, red, fried, piggy and “with morisqueta" beans as what accompanies them and how to serve them! - Toot, Toot! See you there.
