I witnessed a hit a couple of years ago at noon. Despite 8 shots, the driver was still squirming around, so I went about 3 blocks to the police station to report the hit and an ambulance for the victim. The scene was like Keystone cops with cops flying around the lobby trying to get out the door. As I was leaving, the guy at the desk shouted out to me 'What's your name?", At that moment I realized what I had done, so I just shouted back Enrique Pena Nieto and ran out the door.
The police commander still laughs about that every time he sees me.
