Two new opening - any info?

There appear to be two new restaurants opening around the corner from me. Neither is yet open. One is called Blue Rose, and is where La Mesa used to be. The other is in a new building at the southwest corner of the carratera and Aquilles Serdan and has a sign saying Lago Montaña.

Any gen on either of these???

Was La Mesa the place on the north side of the carretera kind of across from Bobby’s restaurant? If so, the parking is awful.

Yes it was, and yes it was.

I liked La Mesa but damn, what a pain to park.

I always walked, so parking not an issue. There is space half a block and on the other side.

But I take it one has any info about these places?

Turns out one, Lago Montaña, is a real estate agency. Good thing we don't have enough of them here.

Blue Rose seems to have at least one owner from La Mesa and she has her menu posted on the Facebook page. The apps include the deviled eggs and the rest of the menu looks great.

That's good news to me. Those deviled eggs were magnifico.

I agree! Smart, good money making appetizer that costs little and most everyone loves them.
