Recycling drop off Empty Recycling drop off

Post by windrider17 Tue Jan 01, 2019 10:17 pm

I would like to take glass, metal, paper, and plastic to drop off for recycling. I saw the article in the Reporter and have emailed the contact person multiple times with no response. I need suggestions for locations I can use. I saw the place west of Ajijic where the small soccer field is/was, near the topes where the military set up in the bad May a few years ago. Does anyone know if individuals can drop items off there? Any other suggestions will be appreciated. I do not want to sell the materials, just want to get them recycled.

It is for the public to take recyclables there. Glass, tins and plastic. NO paper. Hours are from 9 until 2 Monday to Friday. Not on holidays.

In terms of paper, I take newspapers and magazines and the like to the cat shelter. They are happy to get it and use it to line the cages etc. Win/win.
