Best Steak Sandwich lakeside

The salad place in La Floresta hands down has the best steak sandwiches. 50 pesos for a sirloin steak sandwich and fries. It is enough for 2 meals. The sandwich place in Ajijic on Javier Mina and the carretera gives you no meat and wilted lettuce for 80 pesos!

I hope they don't raise their prices. Service is slow so don't expect to order and be served in 5 to 10 minutes, more like 15 or a bit more but well worth it.

I agree, they have good food and fresh. You can watch him cook the steak or chicken right in front of you. Everything is fresh and tasty, I have had two of the salads so far and the chicken sandwich. Pannino better watch out! :flower:

They are closed Tuesdays. They are on the right if you are leaving Ajijic and driving through La Floresta it is before you hit the shopping area with Dominoes. Tobolandia is directly across the street from the place.

The name of the place is California Salads. If you are coming from Ajijic you would want to make a right hand turn on Paseo de las Olas and then an immediate left onto the lateral road and then you will be right in front of the place.
