Honda Element starter repair
This is a simple but time consuming repair. There are utube videos that spell it out.
Any recommendation for a shop or individual who could come fetch my no-starter? They would have to analyze the problem - could be the coil that engages the starter with the flywheel, could be the starter motor, or something else. My experiences with the dealer shops in Guad have not been confidence inspiring.

Try giving a sharp tap to the selonid with a large screwdriver handle or other blunt item.
