I am looking for a laboratory that can analyze water to check for potability and mineral levels. The lab that I used before has moved or gone out of business. Thank you for your help.

There used to be a lab on the second street north of the Chapala plaza.

No water testing labs in the Chapala area that can do mineral levels testing. For that you need to go to one of several labs that provide that service in Guadalajara.

I've looked into this several times. As Ezzie wrote no labs Lakeside do this. You must take a sample to a lab in Guadalajara. The cheapest one I could find there was 7,000 for the tests.
