Woman beaten in Lower Chula Vista

"Warning: details are not mine to give. There was a robbery and beating this morning in Lower Chula Vista by a person (joined by another, I understand, once the gate was opened) pretending to be a gardener. Woman whom we had just left was then alone at the house and was beaten badly. I was talking to the victim only a short time only before it happened. Be aware, do not trust any stranger coming to your door or gate, no matter who they tell you that they are supposed to be.

When I arrived home not long this happened, after my husband said there was a suspicious person at our gate as well. (just further up the street) He saw a young man, dark hair, tall, that came to the gate wanting money. Minutes after refusing, he heard a vehicle door slam and a white truck with white pickets on the side (like a gardening vehicle) wheel down the street. We are not sure this is connected but some things are similar. A police report is being made. Not my story to tell in full. This is just a caution to those of us who are all trusting."

You have to report it to the MP not the police and made a denuncia to be able to have the charges stick if the guy gets got. The police is preventive and does not investigate.

Hopefully the lady who was attacked can heal quickly and we can all learn from her experience, o not open the door to strangers.

My MX friend who had her car stolen and it was recovered did a police report, went to the MP and she said that in the MP's office, which they don't suggest you need to ask to see the Investigator, the MP just files your file away and does nothing, the investigator in the same office is who does the leg work and found her car.

Sorry Hensley The MP has investigative police, I know because I have helped them several times. They will not tell you what they are up to but they do investigate cases they are interested in . Stolen car is not a priority but someone threatened with a weapon is.. they have many cases and they chose and pick the ones they can make some difference.
