La Casita - New Restaurant by Aurora of Pepe's and Aurora

Aurora of Pepe and Aurora's La Bambolina in west Ajijic has opened a new restaurant called La Casita. It is across the road from Mom's and slightly west, next door to the painted furniture store. She had her grand opening last night and had a really good turnout. Pepe passed away this past fall and Aurora is struggling to get the restaurant going again. The opening was excellent, food delicious and all at a reasonable price. Please support Aurora in her new adventure.

What is the menu, please? Mexican food? American food?

For the grand opening she featured cognac fish or filet of beef. The restaurant menu is diversified with many of the dishes they featured at La Bambola; Italian pasta and pizza, different fish and shrimp dishes, etc.

I picked up a flyer/volante from Aurora yesterday and checked days/times with her.

The fllyer has "La Bambola" as the name (and the sign from the earlier West Ajijic location is now at her place in Riberas.

"Comiida Italiana y Mas"
(The flyer mentions Huevos al gusto, Goeditas, Hot Cakes, Chilaquiles, Tacos de Pescado, and her outstanding hamburguesas).

She still makes a great pizza (a la leña)

She said the restaurant will be open 9 AM - 9 PM everyday except Sunday.
(The flyer said 8 AM).
