Has anyone had their tank pumped recently? If so who did it and what was the charge?
I find no current posts on this topic and need to find someone to to this.

TIA

Depending on when/where, etc.

I paid about $7,000 as I recall 3 years ago.

It's a seller's market, but I understand the government will do it for either free or nominal costs. I never checked but it might be worth looking into.

It's really a shi**y deal.

The guy in Riberas next to Dr Pepe charged me 4,000 pesos and that was almost three of the tanks on the back of his truck. I have no idea what the total tank holds.

I have one suggestion. Pay attention when they do the work. Our landlord had 2 tanks that were to be pumped. He was NOB but had contracted with the company himself. We were in the process of moving in. The tanks were not fully pumped and we had septic issues for much of the time we were there. I believe the water company pumps the tanks so I would suggest using them.
