Question on pumping a septic tank. Empty Question on pumping a septic tank.

Post by Clueless Tue Sep 16, 2014 5:35 pm

I have found that the price depends on how many liters of **** is pumped out.

Does anyone know if the pumpers have a flow meter to calculate how much is taken out or is it like $xxx pesos for the first say $3,500 liters and over that it goes to another $3,500.

I went to the place next to Dr. Pepe and someone was to come out but didn't. I'll go back in a day or two.

The woman seemed nice enough and friendly.

Thanks.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I went to the septic place about 2-weeks ago, but I understand the lag-time in Mexico.

Thanks.

Price quoted is $1,500 for 3000 ltrs. I'm told it may take more than one trip since the tank only holds 3000 liters, that sounds loke a good price from what I saw at the mail box place by Superlake.

I'm still wondering if the truck has a flow meter.

I don't think this guy has a flow meter, just a 3000 ltr tank in the truck when he did mine.

The guy came out but his hose is too large for the two access holes for my septic tank (two chambers).

So today at Noon, the guy by superlake will send his truck. It's a smaller truck and will take several loads/trips to clean both chambers. He uses a portable pump rather than one on the truck with a 3" hose; at this point, I take what I can get. Overall, price seems very fair.

Hopefully today will conclude this incident.

Was told the septic content is deposited to a treatment area/plant
'locally."

I think any illegal dumping of this content would be sniffed out quickly.

Went there yesterday morning and they came by and pumped it out yesterday afternoon. They have a submersable pump so they need about a one foot opening. Gave me a date and time stamped receipt from the treatment plant after the first tank was emptied. Got to my house at 1:30, pumped the septic whatever dry and left with the second load at 3:15.
