I've always thought New Years Day is pretty much business as usual around here. Those that usually close Monday will still be closed......

Yves, for instance, will be closed for three days starting with New Years Day. One of my favorites, Gosha's, which is usually open on Monday......will be closed. So far, it looks like I'll be cooking, but that's no great loss. Still have a nice bottle of bubbly left.

Aha! Someone on TOB just informed me that Roberto's will be open for brunch and dinner on New Years, according to the Guad. Reporter.
