FM question flying from Guadalajara through Monterrey

Can you get stamped out in Guadalajara when flying through Monterrey to U.S?  One time they made us get re-stamped out in Monterrey and I had relatives who flew through Monterrey to U.S. and they did not have to get stamped out in Monterrey.

Also we are flying an Embraer 190, 2 seats on each side.  How is the over head bin space?

When I fly to Canada through Mexico City I get stamped in GDL and give the airline the bottom portion when I board in Mexico City.

When we fly through Mexico City we always get stamped out in MC, but flying through Monterrey we will only have just a little over an hour layover, so don't know if we will have time to get stamped out there. We'll stamp out in Guad and hopefully this will be ok, but last time they made us go to the guy in Monterrey to get stamped out a second time.

I hàve a sesond home in Monterey.' When I am going to USA I stamp in Gdl and stop over in Monterrey for a few days and then on to USA from there they have never questioned me about previous stamp
