Last Thursday night July 21, 8 of us from our Dinner group ate at Hacienda Ajijic Steak House. The meat dishes are $ 90. pesos on Thursday. On Wednesday Seafood dishes are $ 90. pesos. They brought out the chips and 3 spreads along with fresh salsa. Then they took our drink orders. We had the opportunity to listen to a very talented 10 year old boy on the keyboard.

We all ordered different dishes. Two ordered Shrimp Diablo mild. One ordered Salmon. One ordered Fried Chicken and said it was very moist. Two people split a Chicken and Shrimp Mocajete which they liked. One ordered a Vacio steak and said it was cooked perfect, his very rare and liked it very much. He is the fussiest steak eater I have ever met. I ordered a Filet medium rare and it was done perfectly. It was very juicy and tender comparable to Laurent who has an excellent Filet.

Everyone liked their meals very much. We highly recommend Hacienda Ajijic.

The service was excellent too.

flag waver Ditto John, happened by last night for the 90 peso filet w/red wine sauce, probably the best filet I've ever eaten. Over the past year Hacienda has become one of our favorite restaurants.

I haven't tried their Thursday special prices yet. I'll have to try it - I assume that is why you got such a good price on the fillet. I had it once and full price and it was delicious.

My friends go there for the Wednesday and Thursday specials every week. Wednesday is Seafood and Thursday is Meat.
