Looking for gate remote control battery

Size LR23A.  It is a small long battery.  Anyone know where to buy special type batteries at lakeside?

I have purchased it at the Sony store on Av. Madero in Chapala.

It is an electronics store with a sign indicating that it sells Sony products. That is not actually the name of the store; just what some expats seem to call it. It will help you to find it.....unless they change and decide to feature Panasonic, LG, or ..........

We have to get new batteries for our remote control gate opener. We try to do this once a year before the batteries fail. We go to a place in Chapala--you go west on the carretera to Chapala, cross the main street, and the store is about a block and a half down on your right.

Thanks. This is an odd ball size, not a AA or AAA, but smaller than those. We live in Ajijic so I think we would go east to Chapala.

They have them at Steren across from Walmart (or at least they did a month ago).
