Joco shooting around 1 pm

gringal try New Orleans, it gets pretty nasty there too..and that is just one of the many places  with lots of murders..We have friends and relatives living n the garden district and they have armed guards to go in and out of the area...

One of my most vivid memories of violence in cities was living on a hillside above San Pedro in Los Angeles and watching the city on fire during the 'nineties riots. The whole area was on lockdown, with armed guards at the supermarkets. Life can get very scary, very suddenly, all over the U.S., especially in the big cities.

I also had the "opportunity" to see the San Fancisco riots from much too up close.

In the end, things quiet down, but nothing was ever resolved or improved as the result of the violence, sad to say.

Road Rage incidents in the past were usually confined to shouting and arm waving. Now, there are often guns involved. Is this because guns are more available to one and all, or because other factors have increased stress on the population to the point of making people more inclined to violence?

Probably means a semi-automatic as opposed to a revolver. Eight rounds also suggests a semi-automatic. Spent shell casings on the ground would sinch it.

The warehouse where I worked was burned down during the Rodney King riots and we were escorted by the police out of our Richmond ,ca warehouse during some other riots as well... I know what you mean.. kids used to walk on the railroad track in Richmond shooting gun in the air.. Our warehouse guys were Mexicans, not doubt from gang judging by the tattoos on their neck and our warehouse was right in the middle of a black area and the warehouse guys would get attacked on a regular basis on their way home.. some areas can be pretty rough..

Not quite

The 2 nights ago in Phoenix, a customer standing in line at a pharmacy shot and killed a guy who jumped over the counter demanding oxicotton. The robber had 2 handguns. Who knows what could have happened if he (good guy) had not been armed.

How come the topic has been hi jacked, lets stay with the subject in Joco, if no more news then start a new posting on gun specification's etc
