I was just pointing out that Pepe thinks he can tell but unfortunately has been shown in the past to guess wrong. Just a warning.Trailrunner wrote:
Flamingo, I didn't say Pepe saw mange, I did. Pepe has never been to Anita's.

I understood that the "new" organization was going to get some way to have a bank in the U.S. take U.S. checks. Has that happened?
I have a US$500.00 business check made to the new name I was given, but I know there would be serious problems trying to negotiate it in Mexico, not to mention the costs.
Please PM or email me with any information.
Thanks

I'm bumping this to the top since I can't find the transition team.

You might try Ladron's veterinary clinic. It is my understanding that they are spay/neutering and giving medical care to all the remaining Anita's animals gratis. They could use some help with the expenses. Perhaps you could help that way?

Since the people now in charge of Anita's are working to adopt out animals and close down the shelter ASAP, I doubt they plan to set up U.S. banking to collect U.S. checks. I believe it was the now gone self-appointed "transition team" that had plans to transform Anita's and keep it going as a shelter who talked about setting up U.S. banking.
