We invite you to attend the third Feria de la Capirotada Saturday April 1st in Ajijic. At the malecon, by the fountain. it starts at 4pm. free admission taste as many capirotadas as you wish. This is a non-profit event. Donations are accepted to increase prizes. This is the only event of this type in all of Mexico.

Capirotada is a sweet dessert made during lent. it's made with dried bollilo bread, pilloncillo (dried sugar cane sugar, raisins, cheese, canela, and other secret ingredients.
