Well, now I know why it has been raining here during the day all week. It has been raining hard all day today, not chipi chipi, or light sprinkles, but heavy rain. It is normally illegal for it to rain during daylight hours here in Cuernavaca, in the central highlands.

Yes I saw the forecast - thunderstorms every day through the weekend. I hope it doesn't ruin the Independence Day celebrations for the Canadians and the US! I have one on Sunday to go to and friend BBQing hambergs and hot dogs.

I love it! We have a sun room in our house where the rain comes in one side goes out the other. The first year here we didn’t realize how it worked and we were all working hard to mop it up, now we just admire the genius of practicality. (We just don’t put rugs in this room.)
