Old batteries
Is there, by any chance, someplace I can dump old batteries where they will be properly disposed of?
Cheers,

Re: Old batteries
I think there is a place in Chapala. It is on the left going into Chapala right beside a two story (or maybe 3 story) white medical building. Maybe 2-3 blocks before the traffic light.
I think the number on the medical building is either 233 or 223 and the number is up high on the building.
The only reason that I know that is that I went to the medical building and there was a sign on the wall about what they would pay for used batteries.
I've never dropped any batteries off there, just saw the sign on the wall

Re: Old batteries
I think that is for old car batteries (for the lead). I have never heard of anyone buying depleted dry cell batteries.

Re: Old batteries
If you are talking about household batteries, aa, aaa, etc, several places have containers for collection. We often leave ours at the ferreteria next to HandyMail. There is a container at the front left side as you enter.

Soriana customer service desk
Hi - I noticed a little white plastic tub for used batteries, on the counter at the Soriana customer service desk. That´s the place where you leave packages, get refunds, get your receipt stamped as a guarantee when you buy electronics etcCanada_Mike wrote:Is there, by any chance, someplace I can dump old batteries where they will be properly disposed of?
