Yes, it is a work in progress, having some issues with IE, am having guest writers write numerous articles on law, accounting, banking, etc. It is growing, my web girl works Monday and Tuesday afternoons so after those day's you'll see updates, feel free to let me know anything you'd like to see. I'm trying to put info hard to find and for the local professional population and not just foreigners.

Your webmaster is working with a very primitive style. Keep an eye on it before she goes too far

She is doing java. I'm just trying to get the info out there. Photos of government offices and maps as well as the list of court experts and other items, many articles will be in only Spanish of interest to professionals here but there will be things in English, no blogs or commentary.

Java is a high-level programing language for the internet. It can do many things that plain old HTML cannot.

There's Java and there's java ... she is not using her own code but trying to patch together some old style stuff. If all you want is material presentation then plain HTML is more than enough and easier to work with.

If you gather a number of pages(info) then you should have a sitemap.xml that Google and others can find. Should even register these with Google, Yahoo and MS

Don't know ... just hate to see a site with good info have bad interface

First and foremost I want to get the information up. There are things I want to change but I'd rather have it a bit primitive and with excellent info than look spectacular and have poor content. The girl works two days a week and each week we are putting more things up. I'm trying to make a page with law info for Mexican attorneys so that they can better serve their clients. There will be info in English as well, I'm trying to serve all.

Not a good idea to advertise sites that are not ready. The main problem is she is not writing for Internet Explorer which most people use. It looks 'pretty good' in Firefox

I agree with Sparks, if it doesn't work in Windows Explorer (which it doesn't), you're wasting your time.

It sure looks like the programmer is not up to the job. Sad.

I found some code that works using the same .css and java she was using so she should know how to play with it. The 'mouse-over' is a little flaky in IE but should be adjustable. I added a bunch of "life in mexico's" to see how it would wrap. Might be better to have separate menu sections.

She should be able to steal the code as well as the .js and .css. They are all in the same directory. PM me if she can't

It also looks like she is making a page for every subject using the same menu on each. You just make lots of copies of the same page and rename them. Problem is if the menu or header or footer changes ... you have to edit all the pages.

I used to use "frames" which only showed the text you want in a 'window' but used the same menu, header and footer. FRAMES are frowned upon now days but there are .css or SSI's (server side includes) that can do the same thing. I'm just not up on the newer stuff

I'm trying to get everything up, the girl is learning and reliable and works cheap so I can keep the project going without going broke. I'm advertising the site with you guys as I need comments ans testers. I don't want forums but also want good info and in both languages, I'm trying to include alot of hard to find legal info that the average Mexican attorney needs all in one spot. Keep and comments and criticism coming.

Not quite, probably a few weeks off, I'd like to have my guest writers prepare their articles and then translate them to English, it is a work in progress, been a little slow but little by little. Also tell me what you'd like to see, except forums and recipes and food and drink stuff, think legal and financial
