Suspect apprehended.  Not many other details except the pistol used in the attack was small caliber and the victim received a gunshot wound to the throat. Nothing much on his condition except one source said he was in stable condition.
A strange case as usually cartels come with more firepower....maybe another motive or a mental problem case.

Really?? They solve about 1% of the crimes around here yet they catch a disguised suspect within 48 hours. Smoke meet mirror, mirror meet smoke.........and if you will just pay attention to center stage.

Maybe they are protecting that 1% standard.

Now that they don't do the perp parade anymore you can't see for yourself.

The shooter/suspect was identified as Zafar Zia, a US citizen born in India.  He evidently knew Ashcraft, the victim, as he went to the gym where he was working out just previous to the shooting and asked for him by name.  Fiscalia is deporting him to the US for disposition.
There are enough problems here without imported violence.

I would be surprised and to learn that Fiscalia didn't have a LEETLE help from up North.
