What ever happened with the GIL lawsuit?
The last I recall, there was a final appeal ruling upholding a very large award against the GIL members but nothing since then. I can't even find a reference to it with a Google search or on this board.
Justus Hauser was the moving force starting it.
Just curious.

Coldwell-Banker is still around, and there were a lot of individuals.
What's funny to me is that nothing has been said since the order was affirmed.
Of no importance I guess, just was curious.

Coldwell-Banker is not a corporate entity locally.....just a name....no assets....hard to sue.
Realty companies are corporations, not individuals.

I understood that many local agents (from different agencies) were personally slapped with large fines. I doubt any of them have ever paid.

If someone has a work permit and/or is a resident, I would think if they don't pay a fine, the permit could be revoked and maybe even their resident permit.
Maybe it depend on who they are and/or who they know.

The fines for "anti-trust" violations were assessed by one government regulatory entity ( Comision Federal de Competencia Econmica). Immigration issues are a completely different entity.
COFECE does not have authority or powers on immigration matters.
