Carnitas Michoacan

Hi,
I'm just back from El Norte, and noticed that Carnitas Michoacan is no longer where it was. Has it moved or is it gone? It used to be in a store west of Super Lake.

Was thjat the place in a tent in the vacant lot by Farmacia Express before you get to Hole in One? If so, they just seemed to pull up stakes and left. I never heard if they're in another location.

No, it was in a store, and, I think, part of a chain. It was next to the telavera place just across the street going west from the realtor.

I think they are gone, haven't seen them lately.  Never ate there so didn't pay a lot of attention.

That place is still around, Carry, they moved down the carretera to Riberas.

No, Mike, I think Carry and I are talking about a different place. This was a free standing tent Puerto that specialized in tortas borrego.

I'm sure they are gone....try Hector's out near La Cristina, West Ajiic, southside of the carretera, but they are only open F.,  Sa., & Su.

Do you know where, Trailrunner? Rick told me their carnitas were the best he'd ever eaten and when I went to go try them, they were gone. I'd love to have the chance now.

On the right hand side, between 7-11 and Telecable. lol Sorry, I'll check again and let you know. The puesto is a bit smaller but the layout is the same. You'll spot it.
