It's the flirty eyes....
The other day I was listening to one of the talking heads on TV going on about a young woman who claimed she had been discriminated against at work because mgmt said she was dressed too provocatively for the workplace....
She pleaded her case by pointing out that several other female employees wore dresses that were virtually identical with hers, but had not been censured, and it was not her fault that she was beautiful.
Hmmm... interesting, is she being censured for "being beautiful.... or for "dressing provocatively"... or what?
Any thoughts on the subject? Lizzy

Coulda been the flirty eyes
Coulda been the sashaying wiggle
Coulda been ...............oh hell, lets' face it: some wimmen can project wild sexuality while wearing an orange jumpsuit, buttoned up to here and down to there and baggy as well.
Guess the guys just couldn't take the pressure.

If there is smoke there is probably fire. I’m sorry, but this because I’m so “beautiful” just doesn’t work for me anymore. Maybe there was a time but it has past. It doesn’t mean there isn’t discrimination against women but being beautiful isn’t one of them. Sexual favors may still be playing the game.

If a lady is, in fact, a beauty, it's always been wise for her to keep her major assets covered discreetly, and I doubt that has changed much since the dark ages. You could put the same outfit on Angela Jolie and well, your ordinary girl.......with far different results.
The "I'm so beautiful" is kind of a "yuck" excuse........IMO.

Re: It's the flirty eyes....
I once hired a beautiful young lady to work in the reception area of our corporate headquarters and it turned out to be a disaster. The men were somewhat distracted and ga-ga but no problem compared to the women who went ballistic. After a couple of months of back biting and shunning she left in tears. The guys were crushed, the 'ladies' were overjoyed.

Sure:
Congressman Anthony Weiner dressed rather "provocatively" on the internet demonstrating the fact that he was, shall we say, well endowed physically as are many other men who less flagrantly enjoy their gifts. Now, because of his indiscretion, he may well have destroyed his career giving new meaning to the old saying it's not the meat it's the motion.

I’ve always felt that one can make themselves more or less attractive if need be. Ignorant is another issue. (Was she blond? Couldn’t resist. )

"giving new meaning to the old saying it's not the meat it's the motion.
I think "it's not the meat it's the moron" fits better

Only a sexual act that is sinful is the one that uses or abuses and that swings both ways.

I´m impressed Kippissippi.
How about; " It´s not the John Thomas, it´s the fathead."
I know it doesn´t rhyme but Dawg feels better.

Re: It's the flirty eyes....
Well... it occurred to me that men do not dress 'provocatively' in the work place.... but they could...
I mean, tight jeans and t-shirt on the right guy....? Think Viggo Mortensen in that flirty Coca Cola ad. Whoo-eee... he looked fine. I would certainly enjoy being distracted by this guy.
So it may not be about the dress as much as about how the dress is worn.
Wear 1/2 size larger and put on an appropriate make up and 'provocative' could well cease to be a problem. I don't think an employer is unreasonable to expect a little decorum in the work place. If someone wants to dress for attention in the workplace, they can find a workplace that welcomes it. Lizzy

You mean, where she would greet the boss lady with: "Good morning, Madam"

Well... there is that: but I was thinking... a whole lotta bars look for provocative... it sells drinks... then there are surf shops... scanty could be popular there.
What about the theatre, all sorts of exotic costumes or lack thereof.
Hire out to some rich dude who wants some eye candy to parade about... lots of legit escort services around.
How about becoming a model for Victoria's Secret?
Oooo! Got it! Get on a "reality" show. You get paid to act badly and draw lots of attention to yourself. lizzy
