Fishing the lake

A few of us are getting together to fish tomorrow morning. Anyone is welcome to join us. We'll be at the Ajijic malecon, about midway where the lakeside field is. Bring a chair and your fishing gear. We use small hooks, floats and canned or frozen corn.

See ya there around 8:00am.

Did anyone catch any notable specimens?

There was a bite every time you tossed it in but most times they strip the bait. I caught 1 small Tilapia, 1 med tilapia, 1 med carp and 1 small whitefish. Nothing was photo or fry pan worthy.....jaja.

I have dried some corn niblets in my dehydrator to see if I can get them to stay on the hook a bit better. I'll let you know how they turn out. Probably be back there again on Monday or Tuesday.
