Fishing Report - Lake Chapala - Oct 24

Late October dawn over Chapala with fishing buddies...



Slow action all morning until 10:30 when the carp turned up in force.

This carp was followed 10 minutes later by another that was 2" longer!



About 8 local Mexican boys were landing the fish for me and removing the hooks before I ran out of bait.  The wind had blown the Lirio close-in so the fish, 6 carp and 2 good size tilapia, were all caught very close to the shore.

Nice. I guess I left 30 minutes too early.......
