Proactive against crime
In parts of Guadalajara where routes are diverted for construction, neighborhoods considered once tranquil report homes being broken into and vehicles stolen or damaged due to heavy traffic. Making observation of what tapatios are doing to protect their homes, it's not any different than what we have done here lakeside. It sure makes for peaceful living. Electric fencing, razorwire and security cameras. If I could narrow down to two or maybe 3 best security tips, especially if one has a large property, it would be: not having home visable from the street so robbers can imagine a way in and a couple of rottweilers outside. Most people aren't going to take the time to train their dogs to guard and rottys are so instinctive. The third is security cameras. Not so much for the criminals but as a homeowner being able to see outside of property and check from smartphone when not home.
Crime has gone down in our neighborhood since people have become more proactive.
