Jokys in Jocotepec

Tonys friend chicken joint in Ajijic has opened up a branch in Jocotepec on Hidalgo. Open everyday but Wednesday 10-4. Great food and friendly staff. A couple of blocks South of the plaza on your right.

He's opened one in Chapala too, behind the mercado and one block north. They should do very well!

Just keeping my fingers crossed for his great potato salad and coleslaw, Trailrunner! Gotta take a run down Hidalgo in Joco to locate it. Just down there the other night and didn't see it, although it would have been closed by then.

Also, a really good new(ish) hot wings, ribs, burger and beer place here in Joco, a couple of blocks east of the Mercado.....Drink & Fly Jocotepec. i don't drink beer, but their selection is amazing. And the hot wings?? FABULOUS in my opinion!

Who knew Joco would get so many choices of cuisine??? Frida's, China Inn, La Carreta, the birria places, the taco places, and now these two new entries. Muy rico!

Are you referring to Tony's (son Abraham) in San Antonio Tlayacapan?
I wasn't aware they had a location in Ajijic.

I think it's the one in the strip where HandiMail is east of Paz in San Antonio.

Of course. I think he calls it Tony's Too. . .or something like that. Abraham is a nice kid and a hard worker.

Pollos Nachos on Vicente Guerreo just past Ninos Heroes has sushi according to their fb page and gets good reviews from the locals. I have not been yet.

I don't know about their sushi (!), but their pollo asado was my go-to place for chix when I lived there. Deeeelish. Used to be the same guy who delivers with the scooter on Juarez (?). More expensive though.

Good ..... El Pechugón rotisserie is the worst
