Probably high rents and no free for for certain people. Really now, how can people expect others to close their offices and work in the government three years without accumulating a golden parachute as we are almost half way through the administration so that means a little more than 18 months to having to work a real job if anybody would hire them.

Well at the last Chili Cook Off Tobolandia informed us at the very last minute that if we wanted to charge for parking we would require a permit (which we never required in the past). Fortunately one of our board members was tight with City Hall so they comped us one since we are a charity. Perhaps this event was met with the same last minute news and either couldn't get one quick enough or didn't want to pay the price? City Hall watches Tobolandia very closely now since that ATV park fiasco they tried to pull.

Haha Spencer! Except they cancelled this event almost at the last mimute.
I think it was something like Bob's experience. Bet the food truck guys told them to put their new fee/fine/regulation/permit where the sun don't shine.

Re: Food Truck Evento Cancellation
I don't at all believe it was cancelled at the last minute. Last year the organizers of the event had posters up around town announcing it several weeks in advance. (I think it was called "Verbena Fest" or something like that.) There has been no promoting of the event from the organizers at all this year. I think they pulled the plug a long time ago, and the lame "postponement" announcement from the municipality came at the last minute with the "rain in the forecast" excuse in an attempt to save face.
