Canela's Cafe

Canela's Café has moved to Rio Bravo and is sharing space with La Mision Restaurant. What a wonderful place for breakfast! The food is quite good. They make their own sausage, bread and sauces. The chefs were trained at a culinary school in Italy. They are open from 8am - 3pm (just breakfast and lunch). The parking is much better on Rio Bravo so they should do much better in this new location. They deserve to - they are very enthusiastic and talented young people. On another site it said until 2 p.m. Has that changed to 3?

Their Facebook page says 3pm, but perhaps it is 2pm now that they are sharing their space with La Mision. I will have to ask next time I visit. I could never wait until 3pm for lunch!

I prefer 2 but can go as late as 4 at which point it becomes "early dinner."

Yes, but then it reverts to La Mision and is no longer Canela's Café, since they are sharing a space. I only eat twice a day since moving to Mexico - breakfast and late lunch.

I meant generally speaking.
I will try Canela's next week. I look forward to it.
