SKYPE HELP ASAP please!!!!

I need to take a skype call from Europe at 10 and I can't get onto skype from my end. I'm a completely mac person and I use lots of similar tools--camera and audio are fine.

Any advice?

I do, of course, have skype loaded and I have an account.

No I haven't and I don't know what it is. Is it like pinging?

What do you mean by "you can't get on"? Have you tried re-booting your computer?

It should appear as one of your contacts, which helps check your Skype connection.

If yo have skype and you are signed in you should receive the call no matter if you have the skype screen or not. It will ring you and the push the answer button that appears. Ask a friend to call you from Ajijic and test it that way.

Thank you all. I used a workaround and had my conference call. I appreciate everyone's advice.
