This is interesting.

Voting results of federal noise regulations Empty Re: Voting results of federal noise regulations

The folks who read this publication and may vote are, for the most part, expats. I'd like to know how the average Mexican feels about noise regulations. Although, in speaking with old Mexicans, many of them detest the loud noises coming from the plaza. Of course, they are old and cranky like a lot of us expats. Wonder how the mid-30-40's feel about the noise.

If anyone wants to subscribe to this Mexico News email, you can open the link above and go down to the bottom right of the page and click on Subscribe here. It will open a page for your name and email and then you submit it and you get a daily update of news around Mexico.
I find it very informative, the good and the bad.

I don't think most of them like it much either.
My Mexican neighbors complain about it all the time.
Too bad we don't have an audio function,I could let you listen to my neighbor's 14 dogs who have been barking all day....

I'm assuming you are the homeowner and are pretty much stuck there. Someone mentioned a device that will shut those dogs up (Other than force and violence). Isn't there also some regulation about how many animals a person can have in a residential neighborhood? Gotta be a way you can have some peace. Wishing you well on this.

Yes, I'm the homeowner and we were here long before the pendeja neighbor started collecting stray dogs
My neighbors are working on finding a solution.
It's been my observation that most Mexicans are very noise tolerant and non-confrontational but they are fed up with this situation, two of them knocked on my door the other day asking me,an extranjero, what could be done..jaja.
