HSBC
Today I went to the ATM of HSBC and wanted to take 15.000 pesos. Normally it worked. Today I got a receipt with 0.00 amount and of course no money. I tried again twice with the same result with the other ATM maschine. An employee told me that my card is not working well. (It worked very well the day before yesterday)
At home I told my neighbors and they informed me, that it happened to them too. They did not receive any money, but the amount was taken from their account. It took months to get their money back. What should I do?
Did you have any experience like that?

Re: HSBC
You have to talk to your bank NOB. Next, avoid HSBC machines which are notorious for problems.

It works fine until.......... There are several machines in the area with poor reputations for problems.

Re: HSBC
Not to Hijack away from HSBC problems but... I had similar problem at the ATM @ OXXO-Ajijic yesterday. Requested (Once) 3000pesos - received 1500p - then screen said machine out of order. Went home - checked my CapOne account and it showed two debits - One for 3000p($180USD) - and one for 1500p($90USD). CapOne is currently working on resolving problem. Heads Up.

Re: HSBC
I can cool down. Last night (7 hours difference) I called my bank and they informed me about locking my card due to heavy using during last days. They thought that somebody misuses my card. I can relock it, but I will wait some days, because I am afraid that HSBC still can charge my account.
