Apparently this topic from my view has been locked. I could be wrong. CB, if you locked it - strong work. The more secular this site the better. The religious holiday xmas season in Mexico is a wonder to behold. They sure own that.

yes and before you get to Xmas there is the San Andres in Ajijic and the celebration of the fiesta of the Virgin de la Guadalupe so Xmas is not here yet as far as holidays.. The Posadas are a lot of fun for the kids.

It is also Buen Fin for the all night sales and frenzied shoppers to go crazy.  Stay away from Av.Chapultepec, unless you enjoy wall to wall people even at midnight. Even the red lights at intersections won't stop the charge.
