Sparks. No shit. Good thing is our hosts wouldn't even try. Glanced at a few "tread depths" locally today. Yikes. Snow - never. Rain - unlikely. The equation : take a dry spell, add H20 to the pavement = mexican black ice.

Re: Weather??
A system developing in the Eastern Pacific Ocean will stretch rain into Mexico threatening flooding for this weekend.
Following a front moving from north to south across the country for the end of the week, a low pressure will develop off the Pacific Mexican coasts of Colima and Mechoacan de Ocampo. This moisture steers inland just in time for the weekend.

Re: Weather??
This weather is a nightmare. We need to leave this week end and I checked the weather from here to Chiapas and it is rain rain and more rain..when we get too much rain in Chiapas we can get floods in Tabasco and the roads can be closed..just what we need on a long week-end..

I agree, bad weather in Mexico should be discussed in the Octagon.

OK. Everyone repeat after me.
It's good for the lake, It's good for the lake.
Then have another adult beverage of your choice.

Whine whine whine. In March of 2003, we lived in the Colorado high country about 35 miles from Denver. We had between 5 and 6 FEET of snow depending on where you measured. I-70 was closed for a week. We called it "The Big Snow".
I have shoveled enough snow for several lifetimes.

OOPS: Did I see the word "supposed to"? That's right up there with "should". You know, like the potholes "should" be fixed by April. Words outlawed in Mexico.
