Radiologist/Ultrasound now at Quality Care and more services coming

Dr. Diego Vallejo Thomsen, radiologist is now coming to Quality Care for ultrasound service.
Plans in the future for Mammograms, X-rays, and CT scans.
I had an ultrasound and he was excellent.

Ultrasound has been available for years in Chapala

Yes it has. Quality Care is planning to bring more radiology services to Ajijic than is now being offered in Chapala.
Have both offices is a plus for Chapala and Ajijic.

what other services since the place in chapala does x-rays and ultrasound. i can't see them bringing down CAT nor MRI equipment-not a big enough market, speaking of which have y'all noticed all the doc clinics that have opened here. good old mexican 50's style marketing a la seven-11 vs. oxxo there are only so many ferners ta go around yer gonna be saying bye bye ta some of these docs-SNORK!

Is Quality Care located in Ajijic or San Antonio Tlay.?

Ajijic just past the Pemex on the libramiento, turn right into the parking lot and Quality Care will be on the right. I just had a mammogram ordered yesterday by my Dr., sure wish they had that equipment lakeside so I wouldn't have to drive into Guad which will take the better part of the day. Maybe some day.

That whole area is in San Antonio Tlayacapan, not Ajijic, as are the new mall, Walmart, AutoZone, etc.
Much lakeside shopping is also in Riberas del Pilar, with most being in downtown Chapala. Ajijic does have some shopping, but little parking, with mostly smaller shops. When we moved from Ajijic to Chapala in 2004, life became much easier by car and by foot. Even access to things on the east side of Ajijic were much easier to get to as Ajijic traffic congestion worsened over the years.

Your directions are good but that (Interlago Plaza and Centro Laguna) are in/part of San Antonio Tlay., not Ajijic.

Edit....what rvgringo said. We cross posted. Ajijic begins (east limits) with La Floresta.

RV, you have a couple of combatants on this board who constantly argue about whether Ajijic or Chapala contributes more on predial and which one gets the most benefit. I would say San Antonio T. with the all the commercial development, Chula Vista, Chula Vista Nte. El Parque, El Dorado and on and on, is right there too. We just haven't learned how to bitch vociferously enough.

I assumed Interlargo Plaza was Ajijic since when coming into town on the libramiento when approaching the carretera, there is a nice sign on the west side that looks like a fish that says Ajijic.

It was really easy for us, as we lived there and had three garages at our house.
Actually, it is very difficult on weekends, but on other days it is pretty easy unless you insist on being right at the door of a particular place. A block away is almost always an option.

It was advertizing Ajijic and pointing the way....that‘s all. It is located in San Antonio Tlayacapan.
Ajijic is just one of the many parts of Chapala.

I know RV it is the same in Ajijic.

There is a sign as you approach Calz. Lazero Cardenas on the GDL-Chapala highway that says, MEXICO, to the right, but it is a few kilometros.
