I have a friend who lives in SMA who warned me about a gringo woman who is intending to move from there to here, who has scammed several landlords in SMA. If you are a landlord you may want to ask for ID (passport) and let Mr. Google do some research for you. I have detailed info with names and incidents for anyone that is interested.
