NONPROFITS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS
Do any of you with long Lakeside memories know of any partnerships between a nonprofit (asociacion civil) and a business? If so, how did that work?

Re: NONPROFITS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS
It doesn't sound very "doable".
An A.C. conducting business with other sociedades would be normal, such as renting a location, or purchasing goods and services, but to actually be engaged as a partner in some endeavor doesn't sound feasible.
You need expert legal and accounting advice.

Re: NONPROFITS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS
Are you talking about a philanthropic partnership where the business sponsors programs and services for the A.C.? Or a legal partnership combining the two into one business? In the latter case I would assume the A.C.´s non-profit status would be lost.
