Well, Dorky. I am assuming that you did not mean to be insulting when you refereed to these young men as overachievers. Perhaps you just don't know the meaning of the word -- one whose performance or achievement is much greater than expected.
This does not describe these scions of educated, professional class families. They are each very bright and achieving exactly what is expected of them.
