thank you for the delightful post; I always enjoy reading them.
I applaud you on your decision to stop driving. I hope I can be as responsible when my time comes -- I know it will be difficult as, being from California, driving is what we DO. I have 2 markers to tell me when I have finally reached "that age:" automatic transmission and those dorky eye glass chains. I still drive a stick, but I swear, sometimes there are too many pedals, levers and wheels....and I can never find my pinche glasses.
