Mercado Abastos in Guadalajara
Very soon I would like to visit the Mercado Abastos in Guadalajara. I understand that it takes up approximately 30 city blocks. That is somewhat daunting and I suspect I would become lost before overwhelmed. Do any of you wonderful people know if the market had been mapped according to vendor types? Are most of the like item vendors in specific places? E.G. if I want to buy cheeses, are the cheese folks mostly in one area?, or fruits, grains, etc.
I love to cook and eat and getting the right items can be tricky.
Thanks for the relevant and helpful responses.

There are nut, spice and flour stores right on the main drag, then if you walk a couple of the isles you will see like one would be onions and carrots, another tomatoes and something else. The mercado is in the second block on the inside where they have the meats, cheeses and restaurants and more.
