If you haven't gotten this year's winter forecast it's expected to be a wet and cold one this year.

Head's up: Newbie's coming down may want to bring economical space heaters, ventless gas fireplace/propane gas logs, and anything that will help them be comfortable in their new cement homes. Those type of appliances are more expensive here.

There are 55 cold fronts expected between Sept 20-May 15th...how they calculate all of that, idk but we've already started to get some crazy weather...

The closest place to see real snow is probably going to be those (semi) extinct volcanoes near Colima.

I agree that we may be in for a chilly winter. The consolation prize is that they are really going to be freezing their butts off north of Mexico.

Should be a good snowbird season!

Good question! Just too expensive to pay double rents, and haven't completely decided to make Lakeside our home. Maybe if we're away for a while,...especially in the deep winter of the Badger State.... Rolling Eyes

nthensome, ME TOO!!! That's a cappuccino cheesecake I made per my husband's request...you can buy one at The Cheesecake Factory for 700 or 900 pesos!!!

On occasion, during the dry season Oct-mid June we can be blessed with anywhere from a few drops of rain to a sporatic week maybe 2 at the most and it's cloudy more than a down pour...just enough for us to long for the rainy season to begin again. We're having unusual weather this Oct. I like it! Gets me in the mood for the holidays! This morning it really felt like fall with a good breeze!

I took the pup out for her morning pee at 5 and saw stars in the sky. Wonderful. Haven't seen them for quite a while. I hired my cleaning gal to come back today for a complete garden patio makeover in prep for the coming dry season and the sun has definitely changed positions. I've had enough rain, but come June I'll be looking forward to it again for another season.
