New Argentino Restaurante - Parrilla del Che

There is a brand new Argentinian Restaurant in Ajijic on Colon right across the street from Simply Thai (right by the LCS). It is called Parrilla del Che.  We haven't tried it yet but we popped in to look at the place and check out the menu. It looks promising and we plan to try it out within the next few days. It is closed on Mondays.

I think you meant Ramon Corona. Some flyer of theirs appeared in my life a couple days ago.

I haven't seen it, but I bet I know which space it's in. Now I'm curious.

We had just finished our meal at Tango, this evening, and went for a walk. Saw their sign, looked in, and were invited by the hostess (maybe an owner?) to come in, look at the menu, and meet the chef from Argentina. There were no customers in sight. Lovely restaurant. Very welcoming staff, including the chef. Menu looks (cursory scan) positively competitive with Tango. Closed Mondays, otherwise 2-9. We'll try it, next week.

Reviews on TOB are not good.

We had dinner there last night and thought it was very good. The only complaint was the steaks were a little undercooked. They quickly resolved the problem and everything else was perfect.
