Bank Robbery in Chapala

Apparently, there was a bank robbery in Chapala. The news came out on July 24th but it doesn't indicate when(maybe Wednesday) or which bank. Just that an armed man came into the bank and startled the teller, ran towards the furniture store and headed down the street. Mentioned that although the pueblo is small, the robber managed to get away and all is currently under investigation.

That looks like Santander, but the article says it was a bank located inside a local department store. I don't think that photo goes with the article. And Calle Raul Navarro is where Coppel is. Sounds like it happened Wednesday at the close of business.

Hmmm....
If someone goes into The Bank and steals all my money.... Do I get it back?
I only ask, cause Rules are kinda different in Mexico............

Could be not. Of course, the bank records will indicate that all your money was stolen, but the bank manager's family money was not.hockables wrote:Hmmm....
