Aduana and 3 yr visa
I have a foreign plated car and I am on a 1 year temporal visa. I am thinking about a 3 year renewal. When I go up north and come back in I will have to leave a $300 dollar deposit with Aduana to import the car. I am wondering what I have to do to get a 3 year import sticker or is it 3 annual extensions? Is my money gone and I have to call it part of doing business? Has anyone had to do this?
Thanks in advance

You won't get a 3 year sticker just the regular TIP. Then you go to aduana to register when you get your renewal and they will give you a document showing the expiration. I got a 2 yr renewal and I just did mine.

Sometimes if you have a 3 year card they give a 3 year sticker, it seems to be random, if you get the sticker online you only get 6 months and then do a notification once to remind them that your card is for 3 years
