car elect problems ....know anyone

driving home last afternoon when electrical things slowed and stopped working ..... just made it home
just now the car started after checking battery (12 volts ) and alternator showed 8 volts .....wiggled everything and checked for smells ...nothing .....now battery too low .....car will NOT make it to a shop as it needs battery to run or a charging alternator to get there ........... Ideas as to whom to call ?

Sounds like the alternator is shot. Car City probably has a towing service.

one day service ? ...LOL . I figured the alternator ....hoped someone could take it out ( gazillon wires , not like the old 2 wire ones in my 66 mustangs ) fix it and re-install it ....guess I'm dreaming

I think Jaime Hernandez (auto electrical shop) would make a service call. His shop is one half block south of the Carretera on calle San Jose in SAT, (the one way street south, between Coca Cola and SuperLake), east side of the street.

He is of the same family with the tire shop just west of Tony's restaurant in SAT.

1,200 p to bring a new battery to get my car to his shop , rebuild my alternator , put my old battery back in and drive it to my house in Villa Nova in 3 hours ...gave him a 100 p tip ....
