Just received a notice from Barclays Credit Card Security team that they are reissuing the credit cards I used over the holidays would be cancelled and reissued with new account number within 30 days. Also that I am not responsible for any unauthorized purchases.

Just an FYI as I am sure most banks will follow, making for inconvenience to many of us trying to get replacement cards.

Barclay's also announced that they were cutting their workforce by a couple of thousand and in the same announcement, they were increasing upper management bonuses by 10%!
