COLOR ME STUPID

I drove to Larado, My vehicle had not been out of country since 2008, They took my sticker, as it was expired, When I re entered 3 days later, provided same documentation.....registration....original, copies of title....they said NADA, as many of us are drivng on expired plates etc.
I was denied permit, as Original title is rquired for re entry..unless registration is current... Mexican gov requires Originals if registration is out of date!

However you can order sticker on line, send to home address NOB, they will send to NOB address, and you must send PHOTO COPY.....of title within.... 180 days....Go figure....FYI I tried to get visa status and was refused....Strange country....require a original in person....accept copies via email

How did you get back home - or are you stuck up there? Don't you have an FM3? I hope you are not smoking 4 cigarettes at a time to get over this crisis.
